Q: Which treatment is right for me?

Have a look at the "Treatments and Rates" page which will give you an idea of what type of massage appeals to you. I account for extra time in each session to discuss the client's personal preferences, history and any specific injury or illness at the time and so each treatment will be tailor-made.

Q: Is there a choice of male or female therapists?

There is only the option for a male therapist at this time.

Q: What should I wear to attend my appointment?

Comfortable or sporty clothes are usually best. Clients are asked to wear only underclothes during the massage and are covered with a large towel at all times to protect modesty and stay warm. Post massage, there may be some transference of oils onto clothing so please bear this in mind. It should wash out easily however.

Q: What type of oil do you use?

As standard, my prefered oil to use is grapeseed oil or alternatively avocado oil for clients that have dry skin. There is also the option to upgrade to Neil's Yard aromatherapy blend oils for an additional £5.00 charge.

Q: I have a medical condition and/or allergies, what should I do?

Firstly, please make me aware when you make your appointment as it may be necessary to make some modifications to your massage, the oils or the treatment room. I would advise checking with your GP if you are unsure about any condition. Your current state of health will also be discussed at the beginning of the session.

Q: I am mobility impaired, what do I need to know?

At Spring Hill there are a few steps along the path to the therapy room. There are grip handles and rails for assistance at some points. Parking is very close to the property.

Q: Are there toilets or wash facilities available?

There is a sink for washing in the room itself. Toilet facilities are available in the house which customers are welcome to use. Please note that no shower facilities are availble at this time.

Q: Is there parking available?

There is plentiful parking here in Tixover at no cost. Please feel free to use available spaces on our driveway.

Q: What are your accepted methods of payment?

Payment can be made by cash or cheque on the day. Alternatively, pre-payment can be arranged by bank transfer or paypal.
